No reservation on a weekday, got a table. Supposedly not the expected because it is a small joint. I did the same a different night and no reservation, no bueno for getting a table. However courteous waiters, skilled sushi chef. My waiter hooked me up on what was tasty.
I want to love this place. The staff was knowledgeable, the food at the table next to us smelled great, and there was great selection. I just can't get over the fact that I waited an hour and a half while three tables were served before us. I finally had to give up and leave--I don't mind waiting, but not when nobody else in the restaurant is. I hope it was just an understaffed Thursday, and not a typical situation, because I really want to try this place again.
Great sushi at very reasonable prices! Perfect spot to stop before an evening event in St. Paul.

Amazing food and Ambiance! Best sushi i ever had! Parking is a pain, and they are pricey, but this is a good once in a blue moon experience coz of the Amazing Nigiri - everything we ordered was delicious and perfect, down to the green tea! Our server, Lucy, was polite and knowledgeable! I had some ginger ice cream and even that was great, except for the over-kill on fruits and massive serving size (i didn't have space for dessert in the end). Love this place nonetheless!
