Been to this place twice. On my first visit, I had the Red Hot Pepper chicken noodles which were horrible. I though I'd give them another try today as they are so conveniently located in the mall. The host gave us a buzzer and asked us to wait for 20 mins but when we inquired again after waiting for nearly half an hour, the hostess told us that the other host had made a mistake and that we have to wait for another hour! And she was so rude about it! Not going to this place again ever!
I sampled a few things that ranged from awful (BLAND fried rice) to pretty good (Mongolian beef). Overall, if you are out with friends and you want a nice Chinese restaurant to sit down at, this place will do but the food quality is average at best.
This was possibly the worst dish I've ever had. I even recommended to a total stranger. I was very disappointed with Roseville Big Bowl. Bangkok shrimp and scallops was like a lb of salt & HOT sauce. I felt cheated. Cause the first time I had this dish it was wonderful. What happened Big Bowl, get a New chef.
The Pot stickers, the Kung Pao Beef or Chicken is really the best dishes here. If you stray from anything labeled spicy you'll risk being disappointed. Don't recommend anything off the children's menu, as my kids don't care for anything hinting of spice. Price is a little high, however not bad. Service is usually alright, but if the place gets busy they may miss one of your orders.
I highly recommend Kung Pao Tofu Noodles, Veg pot stickers and ginger ale for vegetarians.
