Quite often I faced the same problem. That I pick up the item with low price displayed on shelf and it turns out to be otherwise. It takes extra time to recheck and confirm the price. I find difficult time to find sale items. While at some other stores I find them with bright colored labels. May be this happened because the wall mart staff is unable to put the items back in order after being shuffled by customers. I think if the items are marked prominently for price to match with shelf label or upon the item itself. It will save the time for customer and staff both.

Don't bother darkening the doors of this joke of a WalMart. Customer service is dead. Both in the store and on the phone. They hang up as many times as it takes so you will go away. Have no clue what they sell...."no we don't carry that item" when I have bought it there many times!! Stock lawnmowers in Jan and don't give a "rats behind" what you need its "directed by the upper management. " Don't waste your breath with the manager...he can't do anything but spout the above statement. He has no say ,no pull ,and no interest and no intent to change a darn thing. So bring on the lawnmowers and summer items while the snow flies because that makes perfect sense in a Canadian winter when we are looking for things to keep us warm! The Fergus Walmart does a better job. But that's ok I will take my money elsewhere...gave it a 1 star because I couldn't give a no star..!

I had an eye exam and purchased glasses from the optical department. Everyone was pleasant and seemed to eager to listen to my concerns. They made me a set of bi-focal glasses that I use for reading and computer work, and I'm very pleased with the result, as they are exactly what I asked for. The frames were reasonably priced, and my order was delivered on time, as promised. I will definitely return when I need another set, and would highly recommend this optical department.

These other reviews must be quite old. I have never had problems with low inventory or poor customer service or the alarm going off when I have left the store. When you compare Walmart especially to Target, it is fabulous. The comments I have read here....are what I would say if I was reviewing Target. Walmart prices must less expensive too.
