Great prompt service, quality advice. Refreshing to have someone take the time to explain things and care. They could easily have sold me a new appliance but recommended I fix the existing one. Thanks for the honesty!!
Horrible customer service experience.....called last evening to ask about parts for an older wall oven that won't heat up anymore. The man that I spoke to said I should call back in the morning to speak to a technician and give him the serial number of the oven....they could then check to see if parts were even still available....that way, if they weren't it would save me the cost of a service call. The grumpy retired technician who answered the phone this morning told me that guy should never have said that.....he said they would need to come out and check the oven. At this point I asked to speak to another technician....he put me on hold.....a few minutes later someone came on the line and said "parts." I asked if he was a technician and he replied that he was.....when I asked what his name was he promptly hung up on me! I will NEVER deal with Shuh Appliances again.
My wife and I have been purchasing our appliances here for over 30 years now. I've always found the staff to be helpful and courteous. Just today I needed to replace a water filter for a fridge we recently purchased at Shuh's and I couldn't find the paperwork that came with the fridge and included the order forms for new filters. Called Shuh's to see if they could help me with the order forms and it turns out they carry the part stock, so now I can just pick it up on the way home.
Over the phone they parts guy seemed to be a bit of a dick for no reason. I told him i have the part # of the part i was looking for. He said I probably don't have the right one so he took like 10 mins put me on hold instead. After he found the part (that was the highest price ive been quoted yet) I asked him for the part # to verify what I was told by sears canada and he said no he cant give it to me.. Ill drive outta town Thanks Shuh's
the technicians did an excellent job, worked through their lunch break, were personable and professional and answered any questions I had about the process.
