Shoppers Drug Mart
Reviews
I have had some of the worst customer service at this location. The cashiers are not helpful and very rude. The people who work at the pharmacy have no idea how to read. I have been given someone else's meds on more then one occasion
I do have not good experiences at this Shoppers....they deliver my dad's meds - he's 94 - and there is almost always an issue; mind you, the last 2-3 refills, there has been no issue....I'm not holding my breath yet....we will see what happens.
Based on previous reviews I was reluctant to use this Shoppers Drug Mart, however it is the closest one to my new house so I decided to test it out. They were great! They not only transferred my old prescriptions but also contacted my doctor to get one refilled. I called them in the morning and everything was ready for me in the afternoon. This is a busy Shopper's in general as there is a hospital around the corner and it's surrounded by residential area. Don't let the other reviews turn you away!
Am surprised how all the reviews say the prescription refill is a hassle! Everytime I called (late as I always do) to refill my prescription as soon as possible, they tell me they'll have it ready in 20 minutes...and they always do! I've had issues with them screwing up my insurance information but never my prescription.
terrible pharmacy. couldn't handle NIHB repeatedly, made vaguely racist comments about it to me, took over 3 days to fill a prescription on the automated line for refills. I had to travel home on an emergency as my mother was deathly ill and waiting for a transplant and they harassed me about not giving them 24 hrs notice for refills even though I told them my mother was dying and started crying in store. awesome. moved to rexall - they remember my name, treat me well and if they're out of stock they find somewhere that has it.
