Even though Knapps Country Market and Lakeview Restaurant is under new management, I have never experienced this type of social negativity in my whole entire life. The food is well prepared because the cooks and staff work like a bunch of animals, 12-13 hours with no breaks. The owner, Roger, is way too involved with the everyday business. The responsibilities should be given to the new manager. The abuse that goes on there with the staff is horrible. The owner basically embarrasses his staff in front of everyone. His little henchmen that hang around the store are his spies. This, and the fact that he is one greedy individual. $21.95 for brunch and $25.95 for dinner, with hardly any variety? I think not. You can't even serve yourself in the restaurant for the buffet because the owner thinks that you will waste food. The only good thing going for knapps is that it has its loyal customers that keep it afloat, or else there would be no business. You get the people from Cargill Meats that pay a premium for their meat that they cannot even afford. I will never step foot in the store again, let alone buy anything. Roger can keep his jams, jellies and pickles and unstocked shelves, along with his multi-million dollar construction company. He will never see a nickel from me again.

Excellent brunch. Good value and friendly service. Definitely worth another visit.

Zero....They get a ZERO. What a horrible place and staff. I called and explained I needed a Sympathy Gift Basket for a death. I was told they needed Two Weeks notice to fill the order. I said its a gift basket for a death and was promptly informed we need two weeks notice. Really???? Horrible Service. I will never use their services again nor will I ever recommend them. In fact I will do all I can to ensure every person I know understands how cold hearted this horrible place is. Creative Edge in Guelph said they would able to fill the order by days end....That's Customer with understanding staff during difficult times.

We have had there wonderful weekend meal several times and it was great. They use fresh organic foods that just taste wonderful. Looking out over the lake is so relaxing and the flowers and wildlife are beautiful.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Wide selection of Gluten Free Products and very friendly staff, I will definitely be back!
