I've ordered multiple times and every single time they get the order correct and shipped quickly, will continue doing business with centerfire system
The product availiability and pricing is decent-BUT there's a catch. I don't agree with their shipping and 3% credit card hike tactics. Although they state the online pricing reflects a 3% cash discount (rediculous-who shops online then goes to the store to pay cash?), they charge you 3% on the product amount PLUS ths shipping amount combined. How can you pay cash and still have something shipped? Why does that flat rate shipping charge incur 3% also?. The total you see on the invoice is not what they charge your credit card. Get with the times and display the TOTAL price you are going to charge! It seems like a convenient (for them) method to nickel and dime their customers. This probably doesnt matter to someone buying a few things but on big orders it adds up! The things I thought I got a good deal on turned out costing me just as much as a local retailer. I wont shop here again until the policy changes and the actual price I am paying shows up on my invoice! Enjoy your nickels and dimes. You wont "legally" steal from me again(04/19/2012)
Agree that the 3% add on for CC payments is a little silly, but they are at least up front about it. Even with the 3% charge and shipping costs (which were very reasonable) I got my Walther P99c for FAR less than I could have gotten anywhere else, and I've been looking for a long time. I made my order on a Sunday morning, and my FFL had it on Wednesday. I kind of wish they would have sent some indication that the order was shipped, if not an actual tracking # (I know many sellers won't send tracking #'s with firearms shipments which I understand can be for good reasons ... but a general "you're order was shipped and should arrive in X days" would be nice). That said, they included my contact info with shipment so there was no problem, and no reason to downgrade my rating given the great price and fast shipment.
I've ordered a few times from them, and they've been great. The customer service is truly one of the best in the online firearms business.
I haven't had any problems. Definitely know what you want and research beforehand and you'll get it.
