My husband and I had a great dinner and experience at Asian Wind; it was everything you'd like to expect in an Americanized Chinese restaurant, nice service, and nice atmosphere, complete with koi pond! If you're vegetarian there's a lot of options, and if you're not like us you'll find a long list of all the usual classics like Lemon chicken and Hunan as well as some house specialties. The vegetables the dishes came with were cooked really well - fresh and not overcooked like can be so common in restaurants. The service was great - when my dish took a little longer to come out they kept me well-informed. Overall I had been craving some Chinese food and this was perfect.
Very vegan friendly! Staff was well aware of the differences between vegan and vegetarian food, and offered many dish suggestions. When our food arrived, we were told "Vegans are safe here." The food was excellent, and the prices were great!
Delicious! My family loves this restaurant - never had a meal that wasn't superb.
Best Asian in Lexington, or anywhere I have lived for that matter. Generals Tso's is top notch, as are all the soups. We have since moved out of town, and always stop back in to eat when visiting. Staff is great. Nice atmosphere.
Best Asian cuisine in the Bluegrass area. They have vegan options. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful!
