Last night was my first time at this establishment as we were there for the Cage/Sadistik show. We had all intentions of coming back in the future until I reviewed my receipt today and see there's an "open food charge" of 10 dollars which Im assuming was for the french fries that my husband and I shared. So in reality we paid 13 dollars for a handful of fries that the server suggested after we inquired about several items and were told they were frozen. Let me just say that between our tab we had out in the bar area and my son buying all his drinks in the music venue area we spent well over 200.00 last night and to find a minuscule charge for sharing an appetizer with my husband is disgusting!! Had I known I would have been charged an extra 10 bucks for a 3 dollar order of fries maybe I would have bought a burger or something else but we were there to drink and watch the show - not for dinner!! If you want to be a successful business don't penalize first time patrons with a bullshit charge!! Repeat customers and word of mouth is what keeps businesses going so think about that before you penalize someone for ordering just an appetizer!
I love this place- I always come here to get some work done, while sitting here with my bottomless cup of dark matter coffee, good music and lots of art on the walls to inspire my work. Not to mention, the food is absolutely delicious; everything I've tried. And as a vegetarian, the staff is always super nice and helpful to make any suggestions or adjustments necessary so that I can enjoy most of the Indian influenced menu. Right, by the bus and el stop, it's so easy to get to! One of my favorite spots in Logan Square-- highly recommended!
Fantastic brunch and great service. Didn't finish my iced coffee so they brought a to go cup, not sure if that matters, but it was awesome.
Small venue with decent sound. There are two bars, so it's easy to get a drink between bands. Also, the french fries are amazing. French fries + punk music...what's not to love.
Had a great time seeing a show here, good drink selection, and prices are comparable!
