Do-Rite Donuts & Coffee
Reviews
I deliver donut mix and flour to petterinos. (their shared kitchen) and guess wha? there is no gluten free cake/donut/or flour going there ever. So I wonder how you yuppies with severe to mild celiacs disease are digesting them shits? Francis own up man
Do-Rite always hits the spot. Convenient place to just walk in and grab one, or a box full of the always fantastic maple bacon donuts. They have other interesting selections, and you might be feeling adventurous and try a pistachio donut, which you won't regret. It is a bit cramped, but you'll get quick and friendly service, and most importantly, delicious donuts, so who cares?
I stopped here after the Chicago Marathon (cheering, not running) and fell instantly in love. Old fashioned donuts are my favorite style, and that's definitely the specialty here. Everything from traditional buttermilk, to cinnamon and sugar, to lemon zest, I was basically in heaven and wanted one of everything. They do have other styles, including the maple bacon glazed I added to my large order for one. They had this in a gluten free option as well for those in need. The prices are also reasonable as 4 donuts (and they are fairly large) and a coffee ran me $10. If this place was closer to either my house or office I would probably stop in here multiple times a week and develop health issues.
I visited this little shop on Paczki day (Fat Tuesday) and got a mixed dozen. These were the best Paczki's I have ever had. Absolutely delicious. The dough was very light but still very decadent. I also grabbed a few random donuts (pistachio, chocolate and lemon) and I not disappointed in those either. You will be loved and cherished by all your co workers if you stop here for a dozen instead of Dunkin'.
I cannot do justice to the GLORY that is this place in mere words. Awesome, wonderful, delightful well made good freakin' donuts. Staff is great, selection is mind blowing and you will be a hero everywhere you go if you show up with these. GO HERE OFTEN! Don't embarass yourself standing in line with the hipsters over by the Mart.
