I'm usually not one for complaining because I work in the customer service industry so I try to be as patient and understanding as possible. I had been to their Geek Squad desk twice before their incident about a replacement for my phone because of a defective charge port. I got an email with tracking and never got an email saying it was ready to pick up. Thursday afternoon I checked the tracking and lo and behold it was ready to pick up on Wednesday. I went in on Thursday with one lady ahead of me who ended up getting help the entire forty five minutes I was there. The other lady who was at the desk ended up turning on appointments and took another guy who came in after but had an appointment who forgot his power cable. My dad had come with me for lunch we were supposed to get afterwards and he asked a Best Buy assistant how much longer we'd have to wait and her only response was that we should have made an appointment, albeit I had been there twice before with no one ever telling me I needed appointments.
update.... finally i could get a samsung gear s from amazon. i was unable to find in best buy. i went to the store again because i wanted to purchase a samsung phone what is compatible with my new GEAR S. I went to the samsung cell phone stand there was a short skinny black haired girl who had no clue about anything, she was totally disrespectful, i just wanted to ask which phone will work with my gear s. and she said any samsung! what is a big B.S. i dont understand samsung make a lot of money they selling their expensive phone i spend 400 dollar for just the gear and i wanted to spend an other 500-600 for the phone than why they put this kind of people if they doesnt even know what they selling or doing??!! Just happened today. i went to best buy dot com because i wanted to buy a samsung gear s. I had a nice chat whit a lady who i asked which store has this phone so i am going to pick it up. she said there is in this store in winter garden on daniels road. its 45 minutes drive from my place. so i went to the store samsung cellphone stand and i asked the guy for the phone and he said they dont have it was sold out days before!!!!! maybe the guy in the store was lazy to check if they have it or not was easier to say i dont have it!!!!!! and it wasn't the first time, looks like there is some communication problem here!!!
This is my go-to Best Buy I've bought dozens of the latest technology in here. I always get greeted at the door and have never had a problem with any of the workers. They always ask if they can help me with anything and smile.
I had a very poor experience at this store. I had to replace a laptop ASAP. I picked out one and found that it was riddled with problems, both mechanical and problems endemic to that make and model. In getting ready to return it, I called the 1-888 (toll free) number listed on my receipt to confirm what the latest date I could return it for a refund or exchange. The service guy I got told me I had one more day left to return it for a full refund. I specifically asked him if I exchanged it the next day and there was a price difference, would I get refunded the difference. He said yes. I returned the next day with the laptop and went to exchange it. The store manager said they would exchange but not refund the difference except as a store credit. He said I was a day past the return policy date. I told him that I had been told otherwise by the person who answered the phone number which was listed on the receipt for questions on the return policy. He essentially told me that regardless of what I was told by Best Buy, that his store would not oblige. The guy who initially helped me told me that the manager, Joe, had the ability to do the refund if he saw fit. So basically, I was referred to someone at corporate Best Buy who screwed up and the store manager whom I spoke to was not willing to take that into account and refund the difference in purchases except as a gift card. I don't shop at Best Buy. This was a purchase of convenience. I do not believe that I will shop at a Best Buy after this incident.
Terrible customer service at cell phone stand. Got there at 1:45, put my name on the waiting list for an upgrade. I've been told I was next and they would call me. After 55 min I had 3 customers in front of me. Left the store and not coming back to this one.
