Nagoya Sushi
Reviews
Wow, What happened top Nagoya sushi? It used to be good. I will not go back. Slow service and high prices. The appetizer came about 1/2 way through the meal. My wife ordered the seafood noodles and asked for it not to be spicy. It came out pretty hot. She ordered this dish here before and it was delicious, not today. My daughter ordered the Bullgogi. It was so greasy she could not finish it. It was supposed to come with rice, but that came about 10 minutes after the entrée and then the rice tasted like dish water. I ordered the Cold Soba Noodles. It took about 30 minutes to get those. They were hot and oily. The portion was so small, just to check I put all the noodles in the dipping cup and there was still room for more. For a $9 dollar dish, I would expect more than 50 cents worth of noodles. The best dish was the Onion soup even though the so called chef had put mushrooms in it. A definite No No for Japanese soups. We were all disappointed by the experience, and unless things change there, I would guess Nagoya Sushi will be closed in Dr. Phillips will be closed by Mid Summer. It used to be a nice place. Now I think 7 - 11 sells better sushi.
Went here for the first time last week on a recommendation, have already been back 3 times within a week! Have not had a bad meal yet. Gyoza is best I've had since being in Japan, sushi is very fresh and very tasty selection (fish kettle roll was AMAZING!), Yaki Soba, Bulgogi- everything was good. I love Asian food, but am a bit picky about it. Some of the best Asian food I have had since moving to Orlando.
Some of the sushi I had was good, some not so good. Nice atmosphere and good service. Not sure if I would travel 40 miles to go here again.
Lover roll and xoxoxo YUMMY! Love the great service and amazing food
