Several of my friends recommended Publix to make my wedding cake. I do have to admit I was a little apprehensive. However, I was totally shocked to see this cake. It was better than the photo I gave them! My guests kept asking me who did this cake. I even had guests asking if there were any left overs. I would recommend this Publix for your special cake.
great store, clean and well managed. staff is friendly except for the elderly lady at the bakery. She needs a lesson in customer service.
I perused the aisles sampling food here and there. They started to get upset when I opened a box of crackers and piled on the Cheez Whiz. Once over in the produce aisle, I grabbed a bunch of grapes and spread out a blanket on the floor so I could have a nice picnic. I had a baguette from the bakery section (so fresh! right out of the oven!) and I slathered on whipped butter (go for the store brand- it tastes the same.) Most of the staff left me alone as each time they came near, I would hunch over my food and snarl "We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!" Party came to an abrupt end when the police showed up. I offered to share but apparently they didn't learn that in Kindergarten. I bought a foil balloon there for my daughters birthday a month ago. Still floating high in the air. Best $3.99 ive ever spent.
