Bellini's Texas Grill

Really, $12+ for a burger that was 1/2 inch thick? One that medium rare to well would be a matter of seconds. It came out well done. I asked for medium rare. Tall order to make a patty this thin medium rare. The manager was an amateur and did not know how to keep a customer interested in coming back by making it right. I was hungry and ate most of it before I was checked on. At this price, I expect better from the chef and from the manager. At least the bartender apologized. I worked in the restaurant business for 11 years and this is not how it's done. The owner is the worst part and should apologize for doing this to his chef. Seems to me like their hands were tied by either the main managers or the owners. Don't do this to people, they resent it. They write bad things. You want to charge for your food?, then represent the food in quality. Ingredients seemed to be good. If you think you can do this MR, then do it, but I think you are asking too much of the chef.
@ Andrea Perkins. You are a sad and pathetic woman. Mothers day was ruined because you had a bad experience at a restaurant.. SMH. You sound like a spoiled spoiled poor excuse for a human being. Bellini's food is incredible and I personally had a wonderful experience. Thank you guys don't change a thing. -Weston-
BEST HAPPY HOUR for beer nerds! :) There is a small bar in the back of the restaurant that has a surprising selection of craft beers. Their head bartender, Chris, is a total beer nerd and swaps out their rotating tap every two weeks. I have had AMAZING new discoveries like: Lexington's Kentucky Bourbon Ale, Hoffbrau Maibock, Cedar Creek Dankarsaurus and many more fun ones... and here's the kicker > craft beers are $3 during HH! We love this place. The food is really good too, particularly their wood fired pizzas and gelato bar. Even the bar is kid friendly and has a few screens for watching football. Parking sucks though, so be prepared to circle a few times to find a spot.
We ordered two entrees and they took atleast 30 minutes, and when the dishes came only the casserole was hot and everything else cold. The tortilla soup was soggy and separated, mashed potatoes chunky and cold. Its seemed like the dishes were made extra cheesy and greasy, to compensate for the blandness. I also thought their menu was way overpriced than other restaurants in the locality. The ambiance was good though
After several friends recommended Bellini's, I finally ate there. Friendly, attentive staff; good food. I appreciate their responsiveness to my being on a tight schedule.
