A favorite place for locals, but they are expanding their dining areas. Seat yourself, but check the specials board first! My faves are: - Gloria's Omelet; with mushrooms, spinach, bacon, and I ask to substitute cheddar for provolone. Real hash browns, and a variety of toasts and biscuits! I'm also fond of sourdough! - Beef brisket sandwich on a bun, served with incredibly addictive homemade BBQ sauce, which includes watermelon pickle! The meal is rounded out perfectly with french fries and gravy. - The Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with plenty of brown gravy! This is only served one day a week as a special. :( The staff is down-home friendly, but they do close early. Go for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or very early dinner.
Been eating Gloria's Breakfast Tacos since they opened! Always call in for pick up.. Great Tacos but over the last few months every time I try to call in an order I am told that the stopped serving them after noon. This normally would not bother me other than the HUGE SIGN OVER THE FRONT DOOR THAT SAYS BREAKFAST SERVED ALL DAY!!
Well.Had lunch special. the Flautas were not that good. They were beef with fried FLOUR tortilla. Usually there are corn tortillas. Beans and rice o.k. No chips provided. But I heard the breakfast is good, so I might still try that. Recommend - get something simple and ask questions.
Breakfast all day!! Well most of the day. They aren't open for dinner. I love Glorias for breakfast although I am not a fan of the cakey pancakes. They have daily specials (skillets, burritos, etc.) but their menu definitely covers a wide range of choices. The service can be a little slow at times. There's one guy there that really doesn't seem to like people, but overall I am there for the food so I let it slide. You'll see Gloria there most mornings and visits the tables. She is super sweet and adds to the hometown experience.
Really good food and service, had the breakfast burrito and few breakfast tacos. Greeted and even served by Ms. Gloria herself, good experience all away around
