The food at Takara is phenomenal - especially the sushi! Our waiter Nathan was absolutely amazing. The best waiter we've ever had! Even though the kitchen was pretty slow on a Friday night, Nathan made up for it in service! The dining room is beautiful and we LOVED the live Jazz music! Such a great date night experience! If you can't find parking in the front there is more nearby parking behind the restaurant and adjacent businesses. When the in-laws come to town, we're taking them here!

This is THE place my man and I go when we want the whole package: intimate atmosphere, excellent service and unparalleled food. Anything you get is going to seem like the best thing you ever tried. Sushi is so fresh and truly they make every roll like a little piece of art. I know it is Korean owned so the Korean dishes are 100% authentic for sure (lived over there a bit, brings back some good memories!). Get the creme brulee dessert, yummy yum. Yes it is higher dollar than a place like Chili's but every cent you spend is well worth it. OH and one more thing: we went there on Valentine's Day last year and usually they always have a nice jazz band playing. Well the jazz band was there but then they stopped and the owner's brother came out and sang OPERA. I mean, like professional, jaw-dropping opera. All the patrons stopped and were totally captivated at that man. I hope he comes back this year for V-Day, because we will be back!!

Takara has friendly service and great sushi! They offer happy hour M-F 3-7pm and ALL NIGHT (3pm-close) on Tuesdays!

Wow!! Sat at the Sushi Bar and had dinner! What a fantastic food and service experience!! I started out with Sushi, Miso Soup, and the House Salad with the Ginger dressing. I'm not a salad fan, but the Ginger dressing was so good I had to ask about it. It's a family recipe! For an entrée, I had the Mandarin Chicken! Tasty, tasty, tasty!! I don't even remember what my companion had as I was so focused on enjoying the meal, atmosphere and conversation along with listening to the jazz band they had there that night. Our waiter was great too!! We had lots of questions and he happily filled us in! I'm sure my companion's meal was as great since there was nothing left over! Looking forward to going again!!!

I'm here had a couple rolls n drink. Very nice place chill relaxed spot food is delicious. Happy our is a great deal. Oh did I mention I'm from out of town so I'm very happy with the overall feel of the place really relaxes the body n soul while away from home
