Dream Cars Austin
Reviews
My son went to Dream Cars to look for a car and I went with him to co-sign. Joe Bernhard greeted us at the parking lot and never left our side until we signed the last paper to finalize the purchase. My son and I were very impressed with how efficient and organized this dealership turned out to be. Joe handled every detail in a professional manner up until the final "gong" :). Thank you Joe for making our experience an amazing one! We are super happy with his beautiful new Jeep. E. Locklear
Michael Fury and his team were just great! They had the car I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. I went through their pre-approval process online, via their website (highly recommended...makes the rest of the process SO easy). Once we ironed out the details (regarding my trade in, financing, and the car I wanted to purchase), the process was fast and easy! I was really impressed when Mike called me a week later to follow up - the kind of customer service we all expect, but almost never get. I got it here! Thanks, Mike!
I bought my 2012 Malibu from Dream Cars. Scotty was my salesman and he was awesome! I would definitely recommend to my family and friends and will look at getting a car for my daughter from here thanks to Scotty.
Had a wonderful time with the company and staff at Dream Cars, Austin. I was approaching the end of my older vehicle, and expressed my current wants and needs. Rick L. was able to fit me into a great vehicle, and allowed me to drive it for a day, so that I may look for other deals. Assured I made a right choice, I returned and the sales staff/management were happy to see me back. Rick is a great people person, and will help anyone who walks in the doors. Although, Rick greeted me before I even walked in. That's exceptional customer service, and I'd recommend anyone see these guys/gals for a great deal and newer vehicle.
I came to check this place out about a month ago. My salesman, Tony was actually a pretty nice guy. We walked the lot a few times, test drove a few cars, and he did a good job of convincing me that I should go for something nice, which was a 2011 Maxima, low miles, leather, pretty slick ride with all things considered. The finance team applied all over the place to find me financing, which I thought would be impossible. Luckily for me, they were able to get me approved, which is something I highly appreciated. Despite the monthly payments on the loan being a bit high, I went ahead and took the deal and now have a nicer car than anything I have ever owned before. If you have low credit or past issues with your credit, these guys will push to get you into what you want. Be ready to invest your entire day into the process. My visit took six hours. That being said, there were some issues that I'm now dealing with and am quite frustrated about: Lie #1: Tony told me that I would have unlimited car washes and detailing for the life of the loan before I bought the car. After I signed the papers, I was then told those were only available on Fridays. I went in this past Friday to get my car washed and detailed and another sales team member told me that not only can you only come in on Thursdays between 9am-5pm for your car wash, but that there was no detailing included at all. Lie #2: Tony told me that the car would receive a complimentary fill up of a full tank of gas upon purchase. The porter who was sent to fill it up only gave me half a tank. Dream Cars Austin therefore still owes me a half tank of gas. Other issues: When the porters pulled the car behind the service area to wash and detail the car prior to purchase, they scraped the front drivers' side wheel on the fire lane curb, permanently damaging the alloy wheel and getting red paint on the rim. The brake fluid reservoir was nearly empty when I brought the car home, setting off multiple dash lights. I have since filled it and the lights have gone away, but I will now have to have the brake system inspected for any leaks or damage. The car has a heavy stench of coolant outside of the vehicle after being driven for more than five minutes. I can also hear fluid leaking onto the exhaust and sizzling when I shut off the car. Both of these are indicative of a potential head gasket leak, so I will now have to have the vehicle inspected for that as well. I will update this review after I take the car in to be checked out. If there are problems with the car and they fix them without issue, then I'll raise the rating. Otherwise, they lose a star for lying to me about my car washes and detailing, a star for shorting me on my gas, and a star for the car already having issues within 500 miles of purchase.
