The Cheesecake Factory

Loads of food. Nearly overwhelmed with 21 pages of options. Kids meal was more suited for an adult. My 10 year old barely ate half his plate before he asked for to-go plate. Also, need to cut back on the salt for the fries. Ate just two pieces! My mouth still has that salty taste. My mushroom burger was pretty good though. We did have great service, our waiter, James C was excellent. Keep up the great work James.
Great service every time we go. My fiancé can never resist a good cheesecake. The waitresses/waiters are always lovely and the cooks do a fantastic job. Big love.
Upon reading the negative reviews I went into our encounter with a bit of cynicism... Friday at 7PM, it was busy, sat within 20 minutes, CiCi was out waitress and she was phenomenal, great recommendations. Drinks, appetizer, main course all came out quickly. Toward the end of the night our service slowed but to be expected in a full restaurant. Asked for my salmon to be medium and it came out PERFECT, chicken in the pasta was moist and tender, portions were large and of course the desserts were outstanding. Great ambiance and lovely decor. Would def recommend.
Ate here on Saturday Oct. 25 and ordered the Spicy Cashew Chicken. In about 3 hours after leaving the restaurant I spent the next 24 hour dealing with a sever case of Food Poisoning. Contacted the Austin Heath Department and they will visit the establishment to look for cross food contamination. I have been going to the Cheesecake Factory for 15 years and have ordered this dish (which is one of my favorite) at the Southern Calif. and Houston locations. Never ever got sick. Trust me you never want Food Poisoning, VERY UNPLEASANT!! To the managers and Kitchen staff ....you need retraining when it comes to proper food preparation!
Might be the worst dining experience ever. My wife and I wanted celebrate out anniversary with a night out with our two kids so we chose this place because the kids would really enjoy the dessert. We were seated at 4:30, ordered our food by 4:40 and we finally got up and left without eating at 5:25. In the time that we waiting we watch a number of tables be seated, order, be served and finish their meals. We ordered a Cuban sandwich, 2 small pizzas for the kids and lettuce wraps. NEVER GOING BACK.
