OK. So this place isn't for everyone. I will say that Service is usually good, the ladies are to my taste and the good is actually very good. The hamburger us great but I really love the sausage biscuits and gravy. I haven't had them recently but they were incredible last time I had them. I wanted to say something tongue in cheek about this place, I guess I just did. Mia is an awesome waitress and Rain pours behind the bar!

I've given this place a few chances, and feel that they're still growing. The food is slowly getting better as they add things to the menu and come up with better food specials. The girls are great, but there aren't many of them. The fun events they hold frequently are a nice change of pace, allowing for a more interactive and enjoyable experience. I would say check it out!

I ventured into Down in Texas Saloon not knowing what to expect. It was about three in the afternoon on a weekday. I am usually too cheap to pay a cover. This worked out fine because there was no cover this day. Maybe for veterans or senior citizens there is not one.Regardless I was happy with my visit.There was happy hour while I was there so i saved money on my margaritas. The ladies were friendly as were the bartenders and other staff. The drinks had a good kick although i wish they were in a larger glass.All in all i enjoyed my visit. I will return.I want to see what i missed. I also want to see what the place is like at night when all the ladies are there. Oh I did see some food being served and it looked good,I may try that also.

Great little undiscovered gem in North Austin... It has a little bit of a Las Vegas style feel to it, but with a Western theme (they pulled it together nicely)... Everything's new and clean, especially compared to all the other clubs in Austin, with No Smoking on the Main Floor (which is a big plus for me), but an over the top smoking patio with full bar, stage, and games outside, so the best of both worlds... Great cross section of music (they dont stay on one genre too long)... Service was great, attentive but not pushy... And the waitresses are as hot as the dancers, and do group stage performances (with the customers even) that really up the energy in the club... It's rocked every time i've been... Def worth checking out ;)

this was the most disgusting place i have ever been to. The cocktail waitresses were so gross and looked like they had STD's. The low life managers here hire these sorry waitresses as escorts for their out of town clients. So i highly recommend finding another place to have a good time. Its sad this place is still open. they should be shut down immediately!
