Noble Sandwich Co.

...and we tried dinner. Yes, apparently they serve dinner now. I'd only been once at the end of lunch at the old location and while it was good, I'm also not the type to go out for sandwiches or burgers for lunch often (I know, I'm not normal). My husband said "we're going to order form Noble Pig" and I said "they're closed, it's not lunch or breakfast"....and we ate yummy stuff. Apparently it's new for them to serve dinner and no one knows. I can tell you the braised lamb dish was delicious, as was the gouda mac 'n cheese (very very gouda-y). I am soooo excited for a new option when we don't want to cook. I can't wait to taste the other dinner items. So far it's great! Keep it up!!
After rave reviews from friends and my son about Noble Sandwich Co., I had to try it myself. It totally lived up to its reputation. I had a tough time deciding what to get - everything sounded so different, but yummy! I ended up choosing the roasted tomato sandwich (half, and it was plenty!) and my daughter had the spicy ham, egg, and cheese. We sampled each other's and agreed both were absolutely delicious. Before leaving, I bought a jar of the pickles for a friend's birthday. Besides delicious food, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You need to go!
I came here for the first time with a friend today. She recommended everything but the Knuckle was the first one she mentioned so I went with that and I got a side of jalapeno slaw. It was probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life and I plan on coming back to try everything. The menu is very inventive and the ingredients are all high quality and fresh. For lunch I would recommend showing up early or late. We had no problem ordering or finding a table at 11:45 but by 12:05 there was a line back to the door.
This place was unbeknownst to me up until like 3 months ago and I've been living in the neighborhood behind this location for about a year. In the past 3 months I have polished the entire menu and I have picked my favorites: PBLT, Noble Pig, and Duck Pastrami. I absolutely love the work these guys put into these sandwiches and hope they continue to be successful for many years to come.
Amazing sandwiches, might be some of the best in the Austin area. This restaurant is just as good as the original, which I frequently drove 20 minutes for. Make sure to get the Seared Tongue sandwich, it may seem a little scary but you will not regret it. The duck pastrami and the noble pig are also good ones. I suggest getting a couple to share. Cant go wrong with their in house pickled veggies.
