I've been here a few times and have had good experiences each time. The food is good and the service has been good as well. This place got a real carnivore to accept that black beans can be filling too. I recommend this restaurant.
The best thing about this place is that they have a huge selection of tequila. The food is good, though not particularly true to traditional Mexican cuisine. In particular, the huarache is like a big pizza thing, when really it should be thinner, more sandal shaped bread.
Pittsburghers crave for the trendiness that East Liberty is currently offering... don't fall for it. Food was definitely overpriced for the two small tacos you receive. Fish tacos were $14 with a small side of beans. I left the place hungry... and what Mexican place doesn't serve chips and salsa before you meal? Also, the food was cold when it reached our table. Margaritas were average at best. Wait staff was good, but food runners had no idea who ordered what. I won't be going back anytime... how difficult is it to mess up Mexican?
Always a good time. Love the margaritas and the new family style tacos. Its nice to try a few different styles. The short rib tacos were amazing!
If you don't mind paying ridiculous prices for tacos, you'll love this place. Truly, the food is good. It's just that the tacos are offensively overpriced. So my advice is avoid the damn tacos. Bon appetit!
