I love this place! The food is always top notch and the atmosphere is unmatched in Greenville! If you want a nice family meal, or if you have a date night, this is the place to go!
I can't even believe that there is bad reviews. I have been going here since January. Every time has been a great experience. Great service, Great food, and Great Environment. Not just a family restaurant, I would say family restaurant 11am-9pm. 9pm-Close is just a really great place to hangout and drink with friends. They have DJ Bingo now on Wednesdays which is the best along with Karaoke on Fridays with the same DJ that does most of Greenville DJ Captain Morgan. Honestly, a great place to go that's filled with locals and not just some plain, same, every other bar like Buffalo Wild Wings.
My wife and I went to O'Cools on St. Patricks day to hopefully get a great corn beef & cabbage dinner. After all, isn't this supposed to be an Irish restaurant? This was their “special” for the day. After receiving our meal, be oth remarked the dinner’s were cold. The corn beef was tuff and the cabbage was hard. To top things off, when eating the cabbage, I kept chewing as if I was eating a piece of fat. I pulled it out of my mouth and proceeded to unravel. Turned out to be a piece of plastic about the size of my fist. Our assumption was the cook put the cabbage in the microwave to cook and the plastic shrunk. When I confronted the owner, he was apologetic. He did comp me my meal, but tried to explain away the plastic saying these things happen and the plastic was “clean” because of being part of the cabbage packaging. I could have pursued this further with a lawyer, but that’s not my style. I would however like to warn everyone NOT to eat there. Who knows what else can be “clean” lurking in your food.
Best trivia night in town. Now they have Hopium on tap.
After going there to play Trivia (NTN) for 5 years , Linus decided w/ Matt, turned off the Trivia channel after scoring 4000 points at lunch. Hope your happy guys are Happy!
