Christy's Euro Pub

I HATE SLIDERS, but the Bison sliders my daughter ordered were amazing! Warning! they are spicy - perfectly spicy. The place was packed at Sunday lunch and the waitress let me know that a table would be open in a few minutes and she was spot on. The food was surprisingly upscale for a pub. I mean more upscale than most of the over priced upscale eateries. I ordered smoked duck on ciabatta. Who would have thought that to exist in a pub? Most of the menu was of higher quality than the uptown snobberies. I have found my new honey spot. The waitress and server was very friendly and helpful. I had the perfect lunch. If you like spicy - try the Bison sliders with tomato pepper jam. AMAZING. This may be a grubby pub but the food and service seems more like a Michelin establishment. This is a diamond in the rough.
Our food was taken to the table beside ours. The people ate fries and handled the sandwiches before realizing it wasn't theirs. The food was then brought to us from there. We sent it back because of that. When the new order came out we added ketchup and started eating just to find that the ketchup had beer in it. Will not be going back. :C
Amazing! ! Best food and great service! They have daily food specials for $5 and you get your money's worth and its delicious! Cheap great local brews. My favorite place in the world seriously! Great atmosphere as well, its nestled in the heart of a downtown neighborhood! Phillycheeseteak last night and Smokehouse Brisket sandwich tonight.. $5w/a side...McDonald's can go eff themselves
Food was delicious, music was good but it took 45-50 minutes for a pastrami sandwich and fries......That was a little ridiculous being they were not even that busy...Beside that it was a great experience and I will definitely go back....
This is a Euro pub, not to be confused with gastropub; you aren't getting no Beef Wellington, nor fish and chips any fancier than Cod and hand cut fries. What you do get is just good old-fashioned pub grubs, like loaded tater skins and fried pickles and burgers and sandwiches, added some "Euro" flavors like Sheppard's pie or, Schnitzel and German sausage plate. As noted as well by some of my fellow reviewers, over the years I think they got quite complacent. The food is somehow the same and different at the same time, at least in taste; and if you are not "in the know" with bartenders and waitresses, be in a wait and a test of patience. I know they are currently under renovation, which I think is much needed, with missing roof tiles and cracked walls and all; what I hope is that, with brand new re-opening they can also renovate their services a little.
