Logan's Roadhouse
Reviews

Overcooked steak but great flavor to everything. Good Service.

This Logan's upholds the consistent dining experience of all Logan's I have been to across the lands they serve. In early July '13, the overworked, but competent wait staff supplied me with an over-cooked, dry and chewy sirloin 'steak'. It was barely fit for human consumption. On the USDA grading, judging by tenderness and marbling, I would venture to say the steak served at Logan's is not even USDA Select (lowest) grade. Every time I go to a Logan's I say it is the LAST time. I really do think this was the LAST time I am going to give Logan's my $20 for a low-grade lunch.

I had dinner tonight at the Joplin MO Logan's. I ordered the sirloin/shrimp plate. The service and the cooking were great, but I was served a sirloin that I could barely cut with a serrated knife. I brought that to the manager's attention, and his excuses and smug attitude just about spoiled me from going back again. That sirloin should have NEVER been served. I could hardly chew it, and the manager of the Joplin Logan's leaves a lot to be desired. He allows garbage out of the kitchen and then expects the customers to complain about them. That is a TERRIBLE attitude.

Wanted medium-well got verywell done. Every Logans we go to has problems with getting the steak done correctly. Texas Roadhouse is the best.

Friendly staff and great food. The timeliness of the server could stand much improvement.
