Flavor of Havana

Definitely not your Tavern Tech Center or ritzy bar to hang out in, but definitely worth checking out. A little small, but they do fantastic with the space they have available. The folks running the bar are plenty friendly and Karaoke nights have been a blast every time. The humidor is pretty decent and they generally have a wide selection to choose from. If you like beer, cigars, hookah, and maybe a little amateur singing, this place might just be up your alley.
The photographer who took pictures for their website really did a good job with this place. The place is dark and dingy. The humidor was almost empty. Cigars are about $3-$4 higher than other places for the same cigar. Furniture looks like it came straight from some adult theatre. Be sure to take some hand sanitizer if you plan on touching anything. What a dive.
Not a bad little place. The gentleman working the bar was very polite and attentive. The patrons were not overly friendly, but not rude by any means. Found it mildly awkward to have a conversation as a first-timer. All in all, a decent place to grab a smoke and a glass of whiskey, but bring your own company.
This was one of the most terrible experiences I have ever had in dealing with a bar. Upon arrival the woman began to harass my friend and I about ids commenting that they are not valid because the are vertical but are in fact still valid because they are from different states and are seen as valid within our home states. She proceeded to over analysis my id asking me questions and then asking for more proof of identification after I correctly and accurately answered all the information on the id. The woman took it to drastic measures on proving the id was truly mine. And right after we sat down she went over to the bartender and they both pointed and laughed at us directly from behind the bar. My friend then ordered a drink which was $6 which is more than downtown and also when she received her drink it was watered down with the water clearly visible on the surface of the drink. Then a man proceeded to hit on us which led to him standing up on the table in front of me and dancing like a stripper. He did this three time before the management even did anything. They merely watched and laughed. It was the most appalling experience I have ever had at an establishment and will never recommend this and highly vote against this place to anyone who brings it up.
Of all the places I have tried in the South Denver Metro area, this is my favorite. It is #1 for the staff (and whom I presume to be the owner). Cigars are very reasonably priced, and they have a nicely stocked humidor. They have comfortable seating so you can enjoy your cigar with your friends and other patrons. They have a bar so you can get a nice whiskey to go with your cigar and TV's in the back so you can watch a game while you chill. It is a small shop...not a lot of room to spread out...but the atmosphere is welcoming and well worth the visit. Both the staff and the patrons always seem to be pleasant...it is just a nice place to be.
