Not going to lie, I haven't had good experiences with the auto services center here. The retail is great, but in the auto shop section the staff at the counter look and treat you as if you're an obstacle in their work, as if you're interrupting them. I was also told by them on a Saturday to book an appointment with them on Sunday but when I called on Sunday, to my surprise, the auto service section was closed. They aren't open on Sundays. This sort of thing has happened numerous times with different staff over the last 3-5 years so I give them a 1.
Great service, quick, efficient, friendly & professional. Went out of their way to help out, squeeze me onto the schedule & get the job done smoothly.
My car wouldn't start one day and the tow truck took me to this Canadian Tire garage. Biggest mistake yet. They charged me over $400 for NOTHING. All that was wrong was some gunk on the spark plug. I talked to the manager, who was very curt and smug. They said that the costs where: $120 just to do a diagnostics to see what was wrong WTF? I told what was wrong. Then labour of $150 to actually wipe off the gunk. Then an oil change which was 3 times more expansive then anywhere else. I will never go to this Canadian Tire garage again. They charged me literally 10 times more than I should have been charged and wouldn't budge on the price.
These guys wanted to replace all 4 tie rod ends when 2 other garages said only the outers needed it. NOT impressed. And their estimate was higher than 3 other garages. Would have cost me more than double what I ended up paying. Won't go there again.
BEYOND thrilled with my experience! Super professional, explained everything clearly and most of all, they are HONEST! I am so thankful to have found a new shop to take my car to! Very highly recommend!!
