The Mint Restaurant

The Thai Red curry was amazing. However the Nepali momos were bland. The food prices seem to be quite high, but it's open later than anywhere else. Nice choice of interesting cocktails and a decent local beer selection. Great atmosphere.
As Victoria goes I really enjoy this place. The bar is great.. Drinks are always delicious. The food is consistently good. I never get an allergy attack there .. I would and have recommended it to everyone
The chicken was rubbery and and tasted processed , like it had been frozen - the type of chicken I would expect on a subway sandwich . I was going to mention to the waiter about the chicken, instead I waited for 20 mins for my plate to be picked up after finishing , only for him not to even ask how our food was. After finishing our drinks the waiter didn't even notice that we where ready to go , I walked to the bar to get our bill and pay. I mentioned about the chicken politely while I was paying, only to be instantly snapped at by another staff member who was working behind the bar / kitchen who said "That chicken was received today, there cant be anything wrong with it" . I explained that it tasted very un-fresh and he continued to argue with me making me feel stupid I even mentioned it. I payed and left with a very sour taste in my mouth. I will not be going back.
I was in the mint last night for the first time. The place is so loud that I couldn't hear my friend sitting next to me and I had to shout all the night. The food portion is so small that looks like a starter rather than a main course. One may need to order more than one main courses to at least not feel hungry. I am a tiny girl by the way not a big guy.
Simply Best ever . Great atmosphere, great food, great price and best of all they are open till 2 am .
