I bought Bruce gun stock hard wood flooring from Home depot,beware there is so much variations in colour and quality,very disappointed in this flooring,i brought home a sample before purchase and expected the boxes to be the same as the sample,guess I will wait a couple of years and have it refinished. It took my installer twice as long to install because of the sorting,nowhere on the box did it mention the colour variations Sad. ,
Had a couple boards to cut on Christmas Eve, John was friendly, efficient, and performed the task to perfection. He made a repeat customer today.
It's a drive, but it's worth it. Today's trip was to try to find stakes for my deer fencing; garden edging; rose food; and a caulking gun-thingy. I knew vaguely where to find the stakes, but was lucky enough to happen on Will. The stakes we found were too long to fit in my car. Will took them down to Tool Rental and used a hacksaw to cut one foot off each. I'd have had to walk away empty-handed had he not done this for me. Then he helped me find everything else/ Will is the embodiment of my Home Depot experience: a gentleman, knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. This company understands the priceless value of customer service---I wish more did. People like Will make this store a pleasure to shop in. And I'll do it often!
The other guy that posted is right, Megs is awesome. Super helpful and friendly. My issue is that the downtown HD is lacking so many items. They'll sell me a pipe clamp kit, but don't have the proper pipe to make it. So, ultimately I have to drive to Langford anyways. I think from now on I'll just go straight to Langford.
