This is a fun spot for dining with family or having a few drinks with friends. Whether you want to escape the office for lunch, not in the mood to cook dinner or looking to enjoy evening refreshments, Original Joe's can provide you with environment to experience a good time. I think it's on of the better restaurants located on the West Shores of the Capital Region District. Everything I've ordered off their menu has been enjoyable & the staff is typically friendly & on point when it comes to taking orders & following up with you to make sure everything is going well. Looking at other reviews maybe this is only the case for regulars as my friends & I have never had any issues with the staff & speed of service. It can get busy in here however this establishment is has been great at keeping the flow moving. I've always had a good experience dining here with friends or even w/ the family.

I was a regular at OJ's going once a week minimum with my friends. The last 3 times that I have been the service has been absolutely ridiculous. The older manager (female) is unprofessional and lazy at her job. I watch her and she barely talks to incoming guests and throws down the menus and food without asking if they would like a refill, or how the meal is. She even belittled our server in front of us when i nicely asked if someone was going to take our order. This has not just been one time either. There are a few servers like Jessica, Cass and even Kate behind the bar that are always a pleasure to see. Other then that, it seems like every time I'm with a group of friends, half the food gets sent back because its over cooked in dirty fryer oil, or a steak sandwich that is full of chewy fat. This place has gone downhill and its sad to see happen because it was a good hangout for me and my friends. Now we go to Darcy's where we know we will be treated right. Restaurants always take on the tone and attitude of the manager on duty and unfortunately there is one in particular there that needs replacing.

It's often a bit on the noisy side and I dislike frequent presence of obnoxious children. But the food is good and usually very quick. Definitely my go to place for dinner in Langford.
