Best veggie burrito I ever had. The location is a bit weird cuz its in a mall, but the food is totally worth it. Amazing quality for the price.
I am new to Victoria and I was looking for a cheap place to go in the area, and this place had good reviews. My friend and I got an order of the chicken tacos as well as the pork and they were both awful, and I am far from a picky person. I could barely eat one, so I was grateful that they were so cheap. I was very disappointed.
This place used to be awesome... But the main draw was the tacos on the hand-made corn tortillas and they don't make them anymore. Every time I was in Victoria I made sure to go to Hernande'z and get some of their tacos, but when we went just this past weekend we found that the menu had changed! There were signs here and there with cryptic explanations about why they didn't do corn tortillas anymore, but we couldn't really figure out what they meant. The bottom line is - my enjoyment has turned to disappointment. No tacos = signature dish gone = no point.
Great little mexican joint with awesome real mexican food. Just wish they had a patio but that said you just can't beat this place for good mexican food!
