Unbelievably bad experience. From the server forgetting half the order to not bringing out the correctly ordered items, to waiting 20 minutes for water on a Sunday - and it was not busy, just over the top bad. The food was cold, the drinks sub-par, and when my order failed to show, it was met with "oh I forgot and it will be out in 15 minutes". So I asked for some flour tortillas in the interim and was told the chef would not allow them out? What is that all about? Her manager said she was overwhelmed and the place was half empty. Our group of six will not be coming back as there are plenty of other places to go in Queen Anne, and if you go do not get Erin as your server. It will be a nightmare. I teach customer service and there was absolutely no customer service in this exchange whatsoever.
While not my favorite Mexican spot in Seattle, Peso's has its perks that make it standout. Think pretty good Mexican food with flare. The wife and I have came here for dinner and brunch a few times and never disappointed. The Bloody Mary's are also pretty damn tasty.
Decent food. Slow service. Strong drinks.
We stumbled on this place after a long day traveling. The atmosphere was hopping and fun. The food was good, but slightly spicy. The portions were just right for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes goid Mexican food.
I went here with high hopes. After reading all the good reviews I figures this has got to be one of the best places in DT Seattle. I've gone three times now and two times out of three I had a very poor customer service experience. My Prawn and Avocado salad had two teeny weeny slivers of Avocado place atop a mountain of copped lettuce. This whole time I had ordered, received my food and still hadn't gotten my drink of wine yet, when I expressed my disappointment, I was treated rudely by the bartender who seemed to enjoy being smug. It was pretty surreal. Anyway the Manager to her credit, came, saw I didn't have enough avocado's and promptly went to bring more. In the mean time the bartender then refused to fill my drink order, you know the one had forgotten about more than 30 minutes before. I felt truly unwelcome at this point and just left.
