Oh Yeah!

Love this place. Only ice cream place I know around that serves us filthy vegans.
My partner and I have made Oh Yeah our preferred evening coffee, and tea spot. I've worked, managed, and owned independent coffee shops for nearly 10 years, so good local, worker-friendly cafe's are my thing! We love the employees, and the service they provide. So we were shocked when this week, owner Evan Clay provided some of the most egregious service we've ever seen. Oh Yeah provides the vibe of a hip, but worker-friendly spot. Unfortunately all illusions were shattered for us this week. Evan spent over an hour loudly humiliating a new employee in front of everyone in the store. She was covering for a co-worker, but wasn't fully trained to work the shift. It's the poor girl's first service job (as Evan made everyone very aware). New employees can't be expected to train themselves, right? Not so, according to Evan, who screamed across the cafe that he "didn't want or need to train employees", and suggested the worker purchase the food to train herself! He stormed around the cafe in a rage, scowled at her, belittled and threatened to fire her. All the while announcing to his paying (though thoroughly bothered) customers that he "didn't care" that everyone in the store could hear his abuses. The girl was held responsible for his scheduling errors, and left to handle large crowds while Evan chatted with a customer, and loudly stomped around. Not once did the employee complain. Instead, she politely entertained his confusing, and sarcastic quips with remarkable patience, and grace. Needless to say, our coffee date was completely ruined. I'm not sure what to be the most upset about...the abusive boss, or his lack of professionalism, and blatant disregard for his customers. Boo, Evan Clay. Shame!
The Big Lebowski ice cream was great; balanced Kahlua flavor. Decor is unique and inviting, and the service is quite good, too. We came in when there was no line, though, so it could be a long wait if you're unlucky.
Great coffees, fine service, relaxing at home ambiance.
It's a coffee shop that serves ice cream instead of coffee as their main attraction. The ice cream is good, but not fantastic. Prices are okay. How much you like this place will be strongly correlated with how much you like coffee shops.
