Ruby Tuesday
Reviews
Over 6 minutes on hold to take a pick up order and still no one has picked up. Go somewhere they care.
Good service, great food, great price Went there for the first time with my mom not too long ago, and I am now a fan of the restaurant. I didn't know what to expect - I had always thought Ruby Tuesday was in the same class as TGI Friday's (which is a bad thing) and the like. I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere, which was... classier than I expected (not that my expectations were high to begin with, re: TGIF comment above), and the service was friendly and welcoming. The menu is fantastic, in my opinion, for a restaurant of this type, and being vegetarian this is important to me because it can b hard to fins good vegetarian friendly (including seafood) dishes in chain restaurants. I ordered the New Orleans Seafood and it was to DIE for... absolutely mouthwatering. The price was very good for a seafood dish, and my experience makes me wish we had a Ruby Tuesday closer to our home in the North Saint Paul/Maplewood area.
Bad service, under cooked and raw.
I went there with my girlfriend yestereday(both of our first times there) and ordered the seafood trio. after waiting for awhile the waitress said they were having issues making the lobster and that it will be a couple more minutes. a couple minutes later the manager came up and apoligized about having us wait for so long and that the meal was going to be on them and asked if i would like to order anything else. the manager and waitress were very apologetic. i never had to ask for refils on drinks, the food was very good. our first experience there didnt start out the greatest but after being treated so well, great service, reasonable prices, and great food, we will definately be back!
Went there with my girlfriend at about 8:30 PM on a Sat night. We knew we shouldn't have expected the greatest service, given the time we went, but some kind of respectful service would have been nice. Our waitress wasn't horrible, but her coworkers didn't do her any favors in making us feel welcomed. Everyone working seemed more interested in flirting with each other than in taking care of the paying customers. One guy seemed really concerned with impressing people at the bar when we first got there, wearing normal clothes as if he was a patron. By the time our food came, he had decided to put his work attire on right at the bar, then continued his show-boy antics without a care to actually working. And don't expect to watch the football games on the TVs at the bar. They'll probably change the channel as soon as you sit down to watch it to some show that somebody else requested, right before said person disappears for a cigarette outside for 10 minutes. The food wasn't horrible, but don't expect much attempt from the kitchen to really care about what they give you. All in all, we won't be going back there any time soon.
