Lovely outdoor space, the beer list goes on for days and features some welcome surprises, the food was amazing, service was great. Definitely don't skip the appetizers! Bruschetta was as delicious as it was gorgeous.
Great food, excellent beer list and a great atmosphere.
Good food. Great selection of beer with good staff.
There is not a a better outdoor eating area around in my opinion. I'm from Cedar Rapids, so worth the short drive down to have a drink and dinner out on the patio. The patio is quiet, private and has a nice big fire pit. In colder months, they also have some kerosene heaters out. It's a busy place, but they take reservations - so we always try to plan ahead a bit and never have issues getting in. The menu is good - this is may more than just a pub n' grub. For craft beer fans, no way you'll be disappointed. The buffalo chicken pizza was really good as was the Umami Burger.
A loud and happening bar greets customers to the indoor dining room, where they will be told how long they can expect to wait for a table. Expect it to be between 45 and 60 minutes during the dinner rush. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was a well-lit and well-heated space. Plenty of other groups were also enjoying the fire pit among the trees. Our service was friendly and rather rapid, though our server did not return to offer drink refills while we were eating. The buffalo chicken wings were, in a word, average, while the twisted mac & cheese tasted very homemade and had a nice crispy top to it. I couldn't decide between 3-stars ("It's okay") and 4-stars ("Liked it"), but ultimately a very busy and very popular place like this just isn't my cup of tea.
