High prices, mediocre coffee and poorly trained baristas. This place is best avoided.
I love this Java House. The atmosphere is nice. It is a good place to work, study or meet up with friends. The food is pretty good but, the coffee is what does it for me. I love the specialty coffee drinks. The service is really good most of the time. I have had a couple of bad service experiences but, those are rare.
Coffee sucks. Service sucks even worse. Getting told you have to leave 30 minutes after buying a coffee is rediculous. This happened to my fiance today. She has been a customer for 10 years. The store manager at 1st Ave apparently thinks that he is someone special after obtaining his GED.
I always get fabulous service! I frequent multiple Java House locations and always have great experiences. Best choice around!
