I visited Studio years ago and am impressed with the new owners. It is a very inviting environment with welcoming staff and a safe atmosphere. This is a college bar so expect a younger clientele but they treat everyone right (I am in my 30's and always have a great time, am greeted by the owner and staff and am made to feel like I matter, not scowled at like a certain bar nearby I will never return to).
After being in the bar for over an hour, buying drinks, I was informed thatI would ned to pay a cover for my partner and myself. I asked the "manager" if that was corect - yes it was. I told the "manager" that I could take my friends and I elsewhere to spend my money. The manager's" reply? "ok. Bye." I strongly encourage readers of this review, gay, bi, tr8 or otherwise NOT to patronize this establishment - PERIOD!!!! I assure you that no one will EVER see me in this place again!
Very fun place to go drink and dance or just sit around.
Very young crowd. Mostly gay men and straight girls
