Gus' Food & Spirits
Reviews
Decent food, mediocre service. Obviously they do not know what an import beer is, but 1/2 price import night saved us a solid amount of money based on this misunderstanding of the difference between import and craft. Took forever to get refills on drinks and our bill. Trivia night on Wednesdays is the worst trivia we have ever been to. Too many rude patrons that are way too serious about the game. It is bad environment if you are looking for a relaxing night with friends to. There is no friendly competition with the crowd at Gus', only angry aggressive competitors. We left before the game was over, and will NEVER return to the bar because we had a very poor experience and there are too many superior options in the area. The food is not bad, so it isn't the worst place, but do not go for trivia night if you want to have a fun night.
I highly recommend that no' one go there. The waitresses are so rude. Managers no where to be found. This place won't last. McDonald's beats these guys out hands down.
Liked this place a lot. I went in on a Sunday to watch football. Was able to watch my team on one of the many big screen TVs. Bar tender was nice, and quick to get me a new beer when needed. Nachos were awesome!
I lived in the surrounding development for a year and probably went to Gus' twice a month. Everything has always been excellent - no matter if slamming busy on a Friday night or a quiet Tuesday afternoon. Love all of the televisions and quality of food!
Still one of my favorite places but suffers from the poor service that is endemic to being in a college town
