American Furniture Warehouse
Reviews
This location is very large with two floors; however, it is well organized. We were able to find the couch we saw online easily. A sales associate was helpful in showing us a few other models based on a few questions they asked us. In the end we decided to go with one of the couches they showed us instead of the one we saw online. Delivery was prompt within the first hour of our time slot and the movers were very friendly.
Dan Hadley was very helpful - I came back multiple times before making a decision and he remembered me, my concerns and the items I was considering. The financing process was very easy. The delivery guys were awesome and were very careful with my new furniture as well as my house. I had a wonderful experience with this store and am glad I chose it among the three furniture stores I was considering.
I'm not sure where to even start, but the list of reasons to avoid this place is long and I'll try to be short with it. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. Most employees don't care to help you or when you ask for help will let out a large sigh like it isn't their job. Also, I was told multiple different things about their delivery, availability, etc. from people I spoke with at the store and on the phone. We only placed an order because we needed the furniture fast and the price was decent. If we didn't have company coming from out of town, our business would have went somewhere else as it will be in the future. After placing the order and paying for it, my husband showed up to pick the furniture up and was told the order was cancelled. No one to this day, can tell us why. So, he spent another hour re-ordering and waiting for the furniture. Once the furniture was home, one of the pieces was unpacked and severely damaged. When I called the store, they told me I had to call customer service. Long wait time and extremely rude person I had the "pleasure" of speaking with there as well. She told me she didn't have to allow me to return it and she wouldn't charge me the 15% re-stocking fee. Really? For a damaged piece of furniture? Thanks for being SO kind (sarc)! They aren't very American in the way they treat people, their policies or their practices and I would be weary to purchase furniture here.
just wonder does the store manager can see this? are they doing something about this issues?(follow up or so) i was here 1week ago and services is just terrible i feel like nobody cares about bussines and when purchased a tv stand wish i paid cash they took 25min from desk to warehouse clerck back and forward just to pick up in my own. too many commercials going on in tv. i have a bad experience at furniture row and i tho that this store may be different but is going down same as the other one with bads services angry people and careless reps. next time i go to different place where owner's cares for their clients. no this big chains and lazy people.
Such a worst customer service. They sell mostly bad quality products...I bout a chair in Dec-2014 and it was broken on 3 weeks and they did not replace it. I will not buy anything from AFW even if they for free of cost.
