It's totally utterly cold, windy and rainy. Where can you escape? Definitely at the Warming Hut. The coffee will be a disappointment to coffee connoisseurs but the hot chocolate will be fun to get.
I come here once a month and love this place for a number of reasons. First, it's very aptly named. It can be very chilly and windy at Crissy Field -- especially on the pier -- and the Warming Hut is fantastically warm and cozy. Second, the coffee and hot chocolate here are terrific, and the guys who make it are attentive and friendly. Third, they sell lots of interesting San Francisco tourist stuff here, which is fine with me. I would prefer a slightly better food selection, but that's not a big negative.
This place is aptly named! With fogfy days and the want/need for a warm drink, the loving hut provides both shelter and beverages to warm the soul! They also have a unique collection of Golden Gate Bridge souvenirs! A great place to stop while you're over by the bridge or Crissy Field.
Enjoy Mother Nature with a nutritous snack. Browse creative multicultural items for yourself or as gifts for you loved ones. After take a stroll along Crissey Field and enjoy our beautiful Bay! Ideal place alone or with friends.
It's a beautiful walk to get to the warming hut so well worth it. It's just a small cafe and gift shop, so there aren't a lot of options to eat anything substantial, but they have sandwiches, chips, coffee, tea, etc. (There is usually a hot dog vendor outside though if you're desparate).
