Came here for the Fried chicken. One of the best fried chicken's i've ever had. Fried up crispy and tender juicy chicken inside. It's about the crispyness and the sauce. Tooked up great and the noodles were not too mushy as they sometimes get when overcooked. Waits for a table can be long though

Gotta start off by saying that we were served by perhaps the best waitress I have ever experienced. She was spot on with timing, suggestions, encouragement, and just the right amount of humor. Type of server I imagine at a much more expensive place that this. Food was really good. We picked out a few items and then our server filled in the blanks to get an awesome family-style meal. Pork tacos and the king pao chicken really stuck out as did the walnut shrimp. Decor wasn't really inviting, but the food and service was so good, I barely noticed.

Wonderfully delicious dinner! I ate here with a group of about 15 friends last night, sharing many dishes, and was surprised and delighted that I loved *everything*! Great flavors, texture, meat quality, etc. And very attentive service! Our water glasses were refilled frequently, the table was wiped and cleared several times, and so on. Also, the owner, Martin Yan, came by our table to say hi, sporting a big friendly grin. You can tell he's truly in love with making people happy with food :). My only quibble was that the seating was a bit uncomfortable (I was pretty squished up against the guy sitting at the table next to me) and a couple of us kept getting dripped on by a condensed pipe above our heads :\. But this situation might have been due to us trying to squeeze way too many people into a single long table and likely doesn't reflect the normal seating situation. I look forward to returning and trying more from the super-tasty and well-executed menu!

Review for their Happy Hour Great: - One of few places that serves dim sum in Mid-Market - Fried Chicken Wings are delicious with a slight citrus afternote - Easily accessible via public transportation - Great location (Under the Dome at the Westfield Mall) Not so Great: - Dishes are fairly expensive at $5 each - Only available during Happy Hour - Traditional dim sum dishes are lackluster My picks: - Shanghai Soup Dumpling (each dumpling comes with its own spoon -- how convenient!) - Fried Chicken Wings

At this elegant establishment, Chinese cuisine is elevated to a previously unimaginable level. How? It's Martin Yan's place. 'Nuff said. MUST try: wild boar lettuce cups, whole wheat potstickers, slow cooked beef & hand pulled noodles, pork & black truffle dumplings. Make reservations in advance, or risk getting buried in the throng of people waiting for a seat. This addictive restaurant can get hectic and the wait long. Great for groups or dates, though the noise level can become a hinderance to private conversations. Try to get seated at a booth if you can.
