Don't like this place one bit. I drag myself out here every once in a while if there's a live show I really want to see, but otherwise I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole. Douchey crowd, bad music, overpriced drinks..... WHY would anyone want to come here?
This place is freezing cold. I was with the band and asked security to close the second door on the inside to stop the draft. For some reason, it was tough for him to do because he didn't want to open the door over and over again as people arrived. What are these people getting payed for?
Shitty service the half-naked chick at the bar decided to tip herself a couple bucks on 8 dollar domestic bottle of beers. Newsflash: Its not a tip if you take it yourself, its theft. And shitty customer service. 40 dollar cover and the music wasn't very good at all, boring DJ sets with bland overly-loud technobeats for about 4 hours straight. Apparently the staff also stole from one of the DJs that night, he kept saying during his set. Grimey place run by Grimey people. Go if you want to get ripped off.
We were excited to catch the Basement Jaxx DJ set but the night was ruined by the loser d-bag in-house security, who chose to stand at the front of the stage and block our view, totally unnecessarily. When we tried to nicely ask him to move over he was super rude, I mentioned it on the way out and the door midget told me to f-off. Wow, what a pack of juice monkey, minimum wage power trippers. I wouldn't ever go back.
waited half hour in line, had to pay $30 for cover, music was just horrible, it was like elevator music with a hint of techno in it, you have to on the strongest drugs in toronto to enjoy that kind of music, stood at the front of the bar for 10 mins for a drink an the bartender kept serving everyone around me except for me, gave up on that and went on the dance floor, half the crowd was jus standing staring at the dj while the other half was in there own world. the club it self inside is pretty ugly, its like they spent about a 100 bucks on their interior lighting, ended up just leavin 15 mins and wasting 30 bucks. never again
