Went for Salsa Brunch with my family. The food was buffet style which was decent, could have had some toast though. The instructor for the salsa lesson was wonderful, funny and easy to follow. Great for any age. Recommend.

This is my 5th visit to Lula and we went just for dancing this time. On previous occasions we have had the dinner and dancing package for $49 with a pre-fix menu and it was great. If you don't do dinner then cover is $15 The salsa lesson starts at about 9:30pm and is for beginners who want to learn some basic steps or to warm up prior to the night starting. Over time it has become more popular for stagette parties (which concerns me greatly as I hope this will not turn into another El Convente Rico) The live music is wonderful and the band give it its all. Two minor issues. 1. almost every song the band plays is really long, which is challenging for beginners and some intermediates as you are stuck with a partner for a very long time and if they are a bad dancer, can feel even longer. So wish some songs were shorter. 2. Tip for dinner and drinks is automatically added even on an single bill and is about 18-20% despite the service and I am a firm believer that if the service is not good then I should not be forced to Tip.

I was looking for a unique place to celebrate a birthday and stumbled upon Lula Lounge. Everyone who attended had an amazing time! It so happened that the day of the event was the day we were blasted with a huge winter storm....the staff was extremely patient and understanding with the number of phone calls confirming and re-conforming reservations and plans for the evening. We were a group of nine - and did not stop complimenting the atmosphere, entertainment and food. The atmosphere was not in any way pretentious, the entertainment was lively and full of musical emotion (the Jazz band, the 12 piece Cuban band - Black Market and DJ), and the food (from appetizer to dessert) was delicious. Our server was a delight all night long - very polite, attentive and timed the service perfectly! We never once felt rushed to finish your meal because they wanted to clear the table. Both bands and DJ were also phenomenal. There aren't many places you can visit for dinner, dancing and entertainment combined with great service and a good time. Lula's made a special night extraordinary.

Great crowd, good music. Will be going back to this place.

Great place to listen to some of the best the international music scene has to offer. A must for any day of the week.
