We had a similar experience to others here. We ordered a fridge and were assured a two week delivery. Three weeks go by and no contact, so I called. I was given a plethora of excuses as to why the fridge was not going to be available for another 2 to 3 weeks. All of them were things the salesman (Kieth) should have known when he told us two weeks. ("Boxing week is a busy time, Black Friday puts a high demand on manufacturers, there are new regulations that kicked in Jan 1st") There was no attempt to offer anything for the inconvenience. (wave the delivery charge or disposal fee for the old fridge would have been at least an olive branch). Then less than a week later, there was the phone message that we were going to have to wait until early February. Keith didn't seem interested in keeping our business and in fact stated several times on the message and then in a subsequent conversation that we can cancel our order. Supremely frustrated with a complete lack of customer service and/or competency in doing their job and taking any responsibility.

We chose trail appliances for our new fridge as they said they would have te fridge we wanted within two weeks. Our purchasing experience was great - no problems. On delivery day the fridge did not arrive. I called Trail and was told possibly the next day. Saturday came and no fridge. I called again and spoke to a new person who said Monday. Monday happens, no fridge and no phone calls. I call tues and they still have no clue. The manager calls me Wednesday to tell me my fridge wouldn't be arriving for another three weeks (total 5 week wait for a fridge). We ended up getting a loaner fridge and an extra year warranty. Still not worth the hassle given the absolute lack of communication and customer service when our fridge did not arrive. I would not go to trail again.

I want to say something about Reid Smith. He was the person that helped us purchase three appliances. He was nothing less than amazing. There were some choices to be made and he totally had the info and his input was invaluable. He went out of his way to make sure our delivery date was appropriate and kept me informed. He truly was one of the nicest people I have dealt with over the many years that I have been dealing with people. And I can't say enough about Trail Appliances. I would recommend them heads and shoulders over anyone else. Thank you Trail and Reid!

terrible advise for purchase of high end appliances that turned out to be very poor (stove/dw/fridge). Trail offers no solutions to on-going problems.
