The Honda Shop
Reviews
Living 2500Km's away, you'd think that purchasing 2 new motorbikes and getting them up here would be a headache. But these guys handled everything for me and organised the cheapest freight I have ever heard of. I couldn't have asked for better service. We are extremely happy with our bikes and will definitely be using the Honda Shop in the future
Worst business man ever greedy ! petitioning against online GST . We can't all drive NSX's EDDIE!! the reason your struggling is that youcharge to much and offer little in the way of customer service!! Give your employees an insentive pay them more for better business and they may encourage customers rather than ignore them :)
I purchased my bike there and had little issues with the sale staff (as you'd expect). I negotiated a large service in the workshop, some tyres and full riding gear for my wife. 1) The large service nagotiated in the deal which was very expensive they simply did not do whole parts of it, and re-assemlbled parts the worng way arround! I found out when I checked some issues myself (valve timing etc). They massivly over tightened a lot of bolts unnecesairily and out of spec causing issues when trying to undo them for me. 2) When I went back to get the negotiated tyres fitted they insisted I paid (and refused to hand me over my keys) whilst they agreed on free transfer. They also advised very noisy and too large tyres for my bike. 3) My wifes gear took weeks to arrive alltough they said "a couple of days" which caused seriously delayed to plans we made, no apology provided. 3) I gave them another chance last week as I needed some offroad gear, I spend about 20 minutes wondering arround in the shop on my own. When finally the sales staff arrived they were quite dismayed and suprised that I said no thanks and left. 4) This morning I called spare parts for a price and was "helped" by a gentleman who clearly has no idea what customer service means, he was rude and impatient and told me "I am trying to explain to you" whilst I was asking quetions. They were also very expensive with their parts. I am sorry but I wont be back due to bad service, bad quality of mechanics and wrong advice of parts. There are much better, friendlier and reliable shops arround in Perth. If they'd like to regain customers they should realize that customer service means treating people with respect and courtesy (they are customers after all), and the workshop should hire quality reliable mechanics...
Avoid like a plague, dishonest business.
Worst experience ever. They changing the price after shaking hands. Calling to say that someone offered more and asking if I can bit the price, all that after shaking hands and having a contract made by them and signed by me...... I gave a manager a chance to fix it by complaining directly but the result is disappointing. So my experience is that all they care is how to get you a rip-off deal. The bike is still there and I presume there was no other offer... And the respond (see other reviews) is just simply another lie!!! It wasn't an offer, it was a contract made up by the shop after shaking hands (literally), and that was done to simply not allow any time for me to understand that I'm already in a rip-off zone and catch me on saying ok to the proposed price! Why why why would they make a contract on an offer they now saying was so ridiculous? They forgot to mention that the first time I've seen the bike there were some problems with the digital display, perhaps due to overheating under direct sun they say, but I say it is another lie, never seen that problem on other bikes, although it was ok on a second viewing and as well it was under the sun all day ??? That part come as one piece with the whole dashboard and cost two grands. Bike also didn't had any service history and a few scratches so at the and of the day I'm actually happy I didn't bought it. Again if they didn't like the deal (shaking hands, contact, etc.) why than calling and asking to bit some imaginary offers? Proper business who respest there clients and themselves would never use such a 'technic'. And I believe any gentlemen must respect his verbal deals as well as shaking hands, as well as contracts.... If you don't like the deal simply say so. And they come up with the price themselves and it was far from my original offer. Giving five stars to yourself in reviews is easy, provide great customer service - is not easy! Selling new bikes using Honda's great reputation in packs also easy. I believe that in a modern times there is no room for such way on making business and it should not be tolerated. And obviously it is only one person in a hundred who would actually take time and make a review, so see other reviews and calculate your chances of getting in to a similar situation. By the way, it just came to my mind that it would probably be a good idea to share this experience with a higher management of Honda so they would know how they being represented!
