We went in for afternoon tea Sunday afternoon and noticed that some of the tables had the chairs put up on the table top. I asked at the counter if they were about to close and was told they were open for afternoon teas etc. but not meals. We sat down to enjoy our coffee and cake when the lady in charge started putting up chairs, wiping and sweeping around the other tables. This is offputting not to mention rude. You would not do this to guests in your own home would you. It makes people feel that they are unwelcome and expectected to pay and leave ASAP. If they want to close, then put up the closed sign then clean up., but do not sweep the floor around customers who came in to enjoy a pleasant afternoon tea experience.

A lovely busy little cafe with wonderful food, lovely people and a great bustling atmosphere. Settle your stomach with a wee look in the gift shop, full of excellent little touches. We are regulars here and thoroughly enjoy bantering with the owners, who remind us to kindly leave our muddy riding boots at the door.

A fantastic place for afternoon tea in the Perth hills.

Actually called "A Patch of Country". An absolutely delightful dining experience, perfect for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, or afternoon tea. Beautiful coffee and delicious food. It was a pleasure dining there.
