We went on Sunday. Wonderful food and lovely wine. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. However, when the experience costs a couple of hundred dollars the owner/manager should remember that he is also part of the experience and should lift his game. I don't care if you're busy, stressed or tired, when I came in you cut me off with an abrupt '''''what's the name?" and not a smile anywhere on the dial. I also don't want to hear your orders to your staff and what they NEED to do, etc. You were pleasant enough when taking our order but by then the experience was somewhat soured.
We visited on the weekend; we had a booking, the pram was easily accommodated, and the food was great. The wait staff are extremely enthusiastic, and although young, knowledgeable. You get the sense that management and the chef work hard to ensure a cohesive, welcoming and capable environment (and they pull it off). The upper end of winery restaurant prices, but we'll be making it a regular anyway.
Good food, good wine, good location.
Setting was beautiful, service was great, the food expensive and the chicken horribly dry. Very disappointing.
Very expensive, but the food is amazing. The red wine's were a bit of a let down (we ended up buying a non-house wine). It also seemed like all the staff were new, which was odd.
