My girlfriends and I went out to check this place out after work on Friday. The happy hour specials are really great, there's a whole list of appetizers for only $5 each and the drinks are half price. We managed dinner and quite a few drinks without breaking the bank. The specials run until 8:30pm so there's plenty of time to do some damage... Around 9pm the dj started and it seemed like it was going to be pretty happening, but we left about 9:30 so things were just getting started. I look forward to coming back on a friday or saturday night to check out the late crowd. It's definitely great to find a fun night spot in northern Virginia so we don't have to go into DC. We'll be back!
To be fair, my friend and I (early 30s) were clearly not the intended market. This was definitely a 40+ crowd. We were there on a Saturday night, so I would assume this is normal. Ladies got in free, drinks were a pretty standard price, and there was fun music. We felt like we were being circled by sharks all night as many of the men didn't dance, but stood around and watched the women, then went from female to female, trying to get someone interested. The dance floor isn't that big, though it was big enough for those who wanted to dance, and was ringed by the watching men. They were respectful enough, though, that if you turned them down, they left you alone after that. All in all, not a bad place, though not spectacular, just not what we were looking for.
Poor management. They assault a customer in front of everybody, through him out the door just because he fell sleep on a chair. His wife call 911 and the cops, his head was bleeding then they took him to the hospital. The guy wasn't doing anything wrong. That's abuse of power.
Visiting from Florida and was looking for a fun night out that didn't involve an expensive cab ride to DC. Iris was amazing!! Great food, yummy drinks and we danced all night long to amazing music and people were a blast to hang with :-)
Suits and sexy. Loved our time here. Can't wait to go back!
