This place is trying to be everything to everybody... sports bar, restaurant, lounge, etc. As a result, the decor is all of those things and none of them perfectly. I was greeted promptly, seated and rapidly served a drink. I asked about the crusted sea bass and the waiter, Daud, suggested a sea bass special. I'm not really sure what else the mushroom and wine reduction had in it, but it was exceptional and the fish was perfectly cooked.
Very creative foods, nothing is same-old style. Service varies depending on time of day but is usually great in late afternoon until closing. Try the Italian BLT with focaccio (?) bread! The bartender Joe from Kenya is amazingly knowledgeable and friendly.
The calamari was disappointing and rubbery. The goat cheese ravioli was delicious. The wait staff was not as seamless as I would have liked, and there were only 6 -8 people in the restaurant. I would recommend.
Met friends who flew in from the other side of the country and hadn't eaten since breakfast. After ordering, waited nearly 30 minutes...for the water, drinks, and bread to be delivered. Eventually asked a different waitress for a glass of water, to calm down the toddler. At 7pm on a Tuesday, the uncrowded restaurant was so loud we couldn't hear each other. Over-priced, non-gourmet food, which you will wait at least an hour to recieve, whilst soaking in the lack of ambience. You shouldn't leave a tip because your service won't be worth one. Arby's, Pizza Hut, ANYWHERE ELSE is better than this overpriced wanna be Italian cafe.
I was at a bridal show at the Marriot, and decided to sit for lunch. The service was horrible. Six or seven different servers approached the hostess stand and not one of them said "someone will be right with you" or acknowledged my presence. The greeter finally came back, unapologetic... and seated us. The menu is very limited, decor is nice. Waitress was as bad as the hostess... no personality, not friendly, brought me bacon wrapped shrimp when I ordered spinach artichoke dip, didnt apologize when I told her that was the wrong order. Spinach artichoke dip came up fast though, and was well worth the bad service. OMG, better than Cheesecake Factorys dip (never thought Id say that)... served with these cheesy crispy bread chips... so flippin good... I want more.
