Friends Kabob
Reviews
Best Persian restaurants in this area. They have the best chicken kabob, one of the best hookah and very good customer service. Very recommended.
As a foodie and hookah lover, this place is good for a 2 hr lunch break. The menu is pretty selective than others I have seen in the area, the shisha is decent to smoke for maybe an hour, and the patio is nice. This place does get packed during lunch hours, so try to come at an off hour.
The food was average, maybe below average. Amazingly bland for middle eastern kabobs. Just plain ol' basmati rice, and the bread didn't even seem hot out of the "oven" like it should. The atmosphere was poor, furnishing shabby. Overall, I probably won't be back.
Do not be fooled! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. If you don't want to get sick STAY AWAY from this place. This is the second time I went there. I got sick BOTH times. It's been a very bad experience for my fiends and I. the food is old and VERY low grade of meat and the leftovers he mixes his meat with. We have no idea what we're eating. NOT RECOMMENDED. You have been warned!. Good Luck
For a place called Friends some of the most unfriendly people work there. I have gone there several times when the open sign has been illuminated just to be turned away. The door sign says they are open til 3am on weekends but half the time they close much earlier than that. The guy that works behind the counter has loser status written all over him he has never once been polite the few times I have visited this establishment. He is one of the most snide business owners I have met. Food is good for the most part. But the experience ruins it all for me!
