A good friend of mine went to this hookah bar last night; he was with a few friends and no one from his party was causing a disturbance. After some time, either the manager or the owner told them (we're unsure which) that since he was gay, their only choices were to either buy drinks or leave, specifically citing his sexuality as the reason for his confrontation.
My friend was not planning on buying drinks for the night, so the fact that this was one of the only two choices offered to him in order to stay is unacceptable. As stated before, his only other choice was to leave the bar, with or without his friends.
The fact that he was discriminated against specifically because of his sexuality is sickening. I, along with many others, have heard of this incident and plan on NEVER returning, and will be discouraging others from going or become frequent customers as well.
Wonderful Place with wonderful service.
